Since 2000
Bringing creative visions to life has always been Steven Spelman’s driving passion. From his days apprecticing as a landscape painter and tombstone engraver, he refined his education at the Atlanta College of Art, where he focused on sculpture and painting. This was further enriched by conceptual and studio courses at the Burren College of Art in Ireland. Graduating in 2005, Steven initially honed his skills through design and fabricating with Danforth Pewter. Where he worked as a product designer, creating 3d designs and bringing them to life through CNC and engraving machines. These would be molded, cast, and sent to clients worldwide.
Starting in 2000, Steven’s journey as Creative Director at Wildwood Studio marked the beginning of his deep dive into translating imagination into tangible forms. His talent and dedication soon made him a highly sought-after prop designer and fabricator for films like *Neighborhood Watch* and various theater performances across Atlanta. Joining the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) in 2010, Steven brought his unique combination of artistic skill and technical expertise to create stunning custom props for stuntwork, heropieces, costumes, and set decoration.
In 2011, Steven took a significant step by launching his own company, blending cutting-edge digital tools such as 3D printing and scanning with traditional artistic methods. This venture has allowed him to create enchanting cabinets of curiosities, prototypes, and artwork. Even now, his passion for creation remains unyielding; often working through the night inspired to sculpt, paint, or design, driven by the joyof transforming ideas into physical reality.
